Safety Netting and BS EN1263
All safety nets used in the European Community must comply with BS EN 1263. Safety nets must be manufactured to meet this standard and should be installed, tested and maintained in accordance with its requirements. Safety nets are used for primary protection and should be installed as close as possible to the working surface. The main aim of safety nets is to reduce
injury as they are designed to absorb energy from a falling body. When loaded, the net will deform, which dissipates the energy with a minimum rebound effect.

The safety net will act as a collective protection system that is always available for those working above it. Safety netting is subject to stringent inspection and maintenance routines including:

■ Annual recorded destructive testing
■ Pre-use recorded inspection
■ On site recorded inspection
■ Recorded repair and maintenance regimes

Edge Protection EN13374

All edge protection systems are designed and installed in accordance with EN 13374. We can offer Classes A, B, and C to specifically meet your requirements, using our BlueSafe System. To compliment our safety netting and edge protection installations, we can supply purposely designed Staircase access systems.
